"You must accept yourself for who you are. Overcome the obstacles in your way to gain enlightenment on the path ahead." Someone might say, but I am no monk or holy one. I stopped believing, or perhaps more accurately put stopped caring, in God a while ago. It all depends on how you view what a soul truly is though. For we all might see it as something else. If you see a soul as what makes you an individual instead of 'just another face in the crowd' then certainly why would souls not exist? However if you see a soul as something that sets us apart from the rest of the animal kingdom, then is that not our highly-developed brain? As for our individuality, is that not formed through our experiences in life and the genes we inherited through our parents? I don't know the answers to these questions, so if you truly care you should seek them out.
