saw the movie today, and it's FREAKING PERFECT!!!!!
the only complaint I have is that they at no point used the Next Generation theme music, I mean come on, that theme was the most awesome of all of them!

I saw it a day after you, on a iMax screen. Too many close up face shots and not being a Star Trek fan, I can say that the movie was entertaining, but it could have been written better.
The Romance was random.
McCoy was fucking badass, in fact, everyone BUT Jim was badass.
The action was okay.
Story is kinda tired, which for a "fresh start" you'd expect something more new.
And speaking of "fresh starts" they erradicated the entire Star Trek timeline that was over 30 years in memory, which if I was a die hard fan of the series, I'd be kinda upset about that.
And the ending was tacked on.
5/5 in my book.
